cicatrix

Cicatrix - scar of a healed wound,  is a multimedia international touring project, initially funded during its first phase by Arts Council England. Cicatrix incorporates digital, sound, installation, drawing and film. Touring throughout the South West of England, across Commonwealth countries and as far away as Montreal in Quebec, the audience is offered further insight into the WW1 legacy surrounding Salisbury Plain through the artists' interpretations of this scarred and ancient landscape and its connections across the globe.

Collaboration with artists: Henny Burnett and Susan Francis in addition to selected guest artists Sophie Cape from Australia, Caro Williams from New Zealand and Catherine Farish from Canada; Commonwealth countries whose compatriots trained on Salisbury Plain, to fight in WW1.
